В App Store уже миллион приложений
Пришел тот день, когда каталог фирменного магазина приложений Apple под названием App Store расширился аж до 1000000 (одного миллиона) приложений! Да-да, всего за пять с небольшим лет после его открытия, магазин App Store взял феноменальную планку в миллион приложений, навсегда изменив мир разработки, выпуска и распространения приложений.
Эту круглую и грандиозную цифру поведал миру Тим Кук (Tim Cook), генеральный директор компании Apple, в рамках ежегодного осеннего медиа-события Apple, проходившего в Yerba Buena Center, в городе Сан-Франциско.
Напомним, что прошлую круглую цифру в 900000 (девятьсот тысяч) приложений магазин App Store отметил чуть более четырех месяцев назад, о чем было объявлено в рамках конференции разработчиков WWDC. Многие обозреватели и «аналитики» тогда сомневались, что в ближайшее время магазину удастся преодолеть планку в один миллион доступных приложений в какое-либо близкое время — уж больно запредельным казался всем такой рубеж, но, как обычно, скептики оказались неправы, к нашей с вами радости.
