Сегодня, в рамках своего очередного специального мероприятия, генеральный директор компании Apple, Тим Кук (Tim Cook) официально объявил, что новая версия операционной системы iOS, уже шестая по счету, быстро распространяется среди пользователей. Официально вышедшая всего месяц назад, iOS 6 уже установлена и работает на 200 (двухсот) миллионах устройств.

Такая феноменальная скорость распространения новой версии iOS среди пользователей является беспрецедентной и, судя по всему, это самая высокая скорость обновления программного продукта в истории. Особенно показателен данный факт на фоне критики Apple со стороны некоторых диванных (и не очень) аналитиков, заявляющих, что iOS 6 снижает общий юзер-экспириенс, заменяя карты Google на собственные карты Apple. Как видно, «проблемы с картами» оказались не существенными для большинства пользователей.
В любом случае, подобный темп обновления пользователей на новейшую версию операционной системы является яркой противоположностью тому, что твориться у пользователей смартфонов и планшетов под управлением операционной системы Android, большинство из которых весь срок эксплуатации своих девайсов используют устройства, работающие под старыми версиями операционной системы.
